I’ve been a Surrey resident since 1978 except for a four year period in Vancouver (1987-1991) due to work commitments. Have freelanced in the newspaper business, promotions arena and was part of the gig economy before it became mainstream.
Hobbies include writing, walking and community organizing. Have been involved in Surrey politics since 2002, running for council in 2002, 2008 and 2011. In 2014 I was an independent candidate for mayor, and although unsuccessful, it was a useful learning experience being involved in the process. Currently I am freelancing, volunteering time, money to social enterprise. Live in Cloverdale and enjoying the fact that it is where the city meets the country.
